External storage access denied

External storage access denied

IF YOUR MOBILE DEVICE IS SHOWING A MESSAGE THAT SAYS "EXTERNAL STORAGE DENY ACCESS" IN THE PHOTOS STORAGE SECTION, IT MEANS THAT THE APP OR FEATURE YOU ARE USING TO ACCESS YOUR PHOTOS IS UNABLE TO ACCESS THE PHOTOS THAT ARE STORED ON THE EXTERNAL STORAGE (SUCH AS AN SD CARD) ON YOUR DEVICE.

THERE COULD BE SEVERAL REASONS WHY THIS MESSAGE IS BEING DISPLAYED. ONE POSSIBLE REASON IS THAT THE APP OR FEATURE YOU ARE USING DOES NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THE EXTERNAL STORAGE ON YOUR DEVICE. IN THIS CASE, YOU CAN TRY GRANTING THE APP OR FEATURE PERMISSION TO ACCESS THE EXTERNAL STORAGE BY GOING TO YOUR DEVICE'S SETTINGS AND NAVIGATING TO THE APP PERMISSIONS SECTION.
ANOTHER POSSIBLE REASON IS THAT THERE MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH THE EXTERNAL STORAGE ITSELF.

FOR EXAMPLE, THE SD CARD MAY BE CORRUPTED OR DAMAGED, OR THERE MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE SD CARD AND YOUR DEVICE. IN THIS CASE, YOU MAY NEED TO TROUBLESHOOT THE ISSUE WITH YOUR DEVICE OR SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM A TECHNICAL EXPERT.

Why this happens

There could be several reasons why you are experiencing the "External storage deny access" message when trying to access your photos on your mobile device. Here are some common reasons:

App permissions: The app or feature you are using to access your photos may not have the necessary permissions to access the external storage on your device. You may need to grant the app permission to access the external storage by going to your device's settings and navigating to the app permissions section.

Corrupted or damaged external storage: Your external storage, such as an SD card, may be corrupted or damaged. This could prevent your device from accessing the photos stored on it.

Connection issues: There may be issues with the connection between your device and the external storage, which could cause problems when trying to access your photos.

Software issues: There may be software issues with your device or the app you are using to access your photos. These issues could be preventing the app from accessing the external storage on your device.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try checking the app permissions, testing the external storage on another device, checking the connection between your device and the external storage, or resetting your device to its default settings.

If none of these steps work, you may need to seek assistance from a technical expert.
