  What actually happens when Windows refreshes the screen? M ost of us have a habit of constantly refreshing our Windows machines. Most of us refresh our Windows desktop several times a day. However, very few of us know what a refresh option does to our operating system. Until a few days ago, when I was hold ing my first desktop machine in my hand since I am a Windows user, the refresh option in Windows clears the system memory, which makes it clutter-free, not a guess, but a belief.
