Repair an SSD

 New SSD Installed in Laptop, Replacing CD Disk Drive, but Caddy Case HDD Not Detected After a Few Days. There could be a few different reasons why your HDD in the caddy case is not being detected after you installed a new SSD in your laptop. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:  • Check the connection:  Make sure that the HDD in the caddy case is securely connected to your laptop. You can try unplugging it and plugging it back in to ensure it is properly seated.  • Check the power supply:  Make sure that the caddy case is getting power. If the power supply is faulty, it could cause the HDD to not be detected.  • Check the BIOS settings:  Your laptop's BIOS settings may need to be adjusted in order to recognize the HDD in the caddy case.
